Position 1 - Internship Program in Market Research

Job Scope

  • Assist in the execution and management of assigned market research projects.
  • Conduct data collection through primary and secondary research methods.
  • Support data analysis and preparation of reports on research findings.
  • Contribute to the design and development of surveys and research materials.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research outcomes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team supervisor.

Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in any field.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Position 2 - Internship Program in Administration & Human Resource Department

Job Scope

  • Support daily administrative operations, including managing documents, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist in recruitment activities such as drafting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Help organize and coordinate company events, training sessions, and meetings.
  • Contribute to HR functions, including maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding processes.
  • Participate in the preparation of reports, presentations, and HR-related documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen, permanent resident, or international student currently studying in Malaysia
  • Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently
  • Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Position 3 - Internship Program for IT / Software Engineering Students

Job Scope

  • Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software-related issues.
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Support software development activities, including coding, debugging, and testing.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for computer maintenance and system updates.
  • Research and recommend solutions for technical challenges and system improvements.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable software applications.
  • Participate in IT system administration, including network setup and maintenance.
  • Document technical processes, maintain records, and create reports on project progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver innovative IT and software solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation and deployment.

Requirements

  • Must be a Malaysian citizen or hold Malaysia Permanent Residency
  • Junior-year or Final-year student or graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, including hardware, software, and networks
  • Familiarity with hardware and software installation processes
  • Passionate about programming and software development
  • Good foundation in JavaScript with proficiency in any frontend framework.
  • Good knowledge of PHP with experience in Laravel, Filament, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Dr. Sharbani bin Harun is a seasoned Independent Consultant with a wealth of expertise in strategic advisory services. His over thirty years of experience in strategic management, finance, and technology management, coupled with a proven track record of driving organizational growth and performance, make him a reliable and competent professional.

Dr. Sharbani's leadership and ability to drive growth and performance were evident during his tenure as the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) and Senior Vice President (SVP) at Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn Bhd (now known as MRANTI) from July 2006 to August 2021. His 15-year tenure was marked by his pivotal role in catalyzing the growth of Malaysian technology firms. As the company's second-in-command, he often stepped into the role of Interim CEO, collaborating closely with senior officials from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF). He also served on the boards of all four subsidiary companies under TPM, encompassing sectors such as biotechnology, advanced engineering, information technology, and higher education.

Dr. Sharbani's commitment to excellence and ability to deliver actionable insights make him a valuable asset to any organization seeking to achieve its strategic objectives. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Multimedia University (MMU), where he focused on innovation and technology management. He also earned an MBA in Venture Capital Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with memberships in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and CPA Australia.
